Yes. We Have Air Conditioning.

Let me tell you a story.

10 years ago, the theater’s air conditioning broke down on a hot summer day. Several people went to Yelp to complain, as was the fashion at the time. But those reviewers didn’t simply state that the A/C was out for the day, they declared that the theater had no A/C at all. Much like a certain photo of an ill planned Hancock/Dark Knight marquee changeover, those reviews have haunted our Google results ever since.

Yes. We do have air conditioning. Not only that, but part of the expansion included a new HVAC system for the lobby and waiting area, so feel free to show up early and hide from the heat.

In a Violent Nature

In a Violent Nature is a strange beast. It’s a methodical, brutal, darkly funny film that turns the slasher subgenre completely inside out through a radical shift in perspective. Instead of following a group of generic 20-somethings, you follow the undying, mute killer as he wordless stalks through the forest.

In a Violent Nature plays various times, June 7 - 13. Tickets

VHS Night: DEATH MACHINE

Death Machine is one of the many Aliens knockoffs that went straight-to-video in the 90’s, but it stands out thanks to a killer cast of character actors, including Brad Dourif (Childs Play, Lord of the Rings) and Richard Brake (Mandy, Barbarian), and sharp production courtesy of director Stephen Norrington (Blade).

Also, this may be the first VHS night where the movie is actually better than the trailer. So, if the trailer left you feeling a little cold, maybe check it out anyways. Trust us, it’s gonna to be fun.

Tonight! (June 7) VHS Trailers at 9:30, DEATH MACHINE at 10:00. Tickets

Coming Soon…

We just posted a bunch of new shows, so check out the coming soon page to see what’s ahead. It’s a pretty eclectic line-up, including what might be the only opportunity you’ll ever have to watch a 100’s of Beavers/Mortal Kombat double feature on the big screen.
