ENEMY - with Screenwriter Javier Gullon

Tomorrow night we’ll be joined by screenwriter Javier Gullón for a special screening of Denis Villeneuve’s Enemy, followed by a Q&A. Enemy is a criminally underseen entry in Villeneuve’s filmography, and we can’t wait to pick Javier’s brain about the intricacies of its twisting, cyclical plot.

Enemy plays Saturday, May 18, at 7:00. A Q&A with Javier Gullón will follow the show. Tickets

The Films of Denis Villeneuve

Throughout his career, Denis Villeneuve has shown an exceptional ability to blend visually lush genre fare with deep, intellectual heft. For anyone who wasn’t introduced to his work until Dune, we highly recommend diving into his impressive back catalogue. Few films reward repeat viewings quite like Villeneuve’s, especially while feeling so complete and satisfying on the first viewing.

Blade Runner 2049, Enemy, Prisoners, Sicario, and Arrival play various times May 17-22. Visit the event page for details.

Furiosa

Our love of Fury Road is no secret, so of course we booked George Millers follow-up, Furiosa. We’ll even be playing one show extra loud on Friday night.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga starts Thursday, May 23. Tickets
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (LOUD) plays Friday, May 24.

Yay. Inflation.

Well, we tried. After holding out for three years, we’ve got to raise prices. The increases will be small, and many things won’t change. Honestly, we probably could have snuck them past most folks, but after the fundraiser we committed ourselves to being as transparent as possible. Good news is ticket prices are staying the same, and you’ll still be able to get a ticket, popcorn, and a pint for less than $20.
