Stopmotion is an incredible feature length debut from Robert Morgan, who previously made his name on short films. With an uncanny fusion of live action and stop-motion animation, Morgan has created something very personal and deeply unsettling. It’s incredible to look at and surprisingly thoughtful, but it’s also a great straight-up horror film.

Betwen the stellar filmography of Denis Villeneuve, and how good Dune: Part 1 part was, we figured it was a safe bet that Dune: Part 2, would be a winner. But we were still a little surprised by just how good the reception has been.

Coming Soon: The Blob with Effect Artist Nick Benson

Tickets just went on sale for a March 16th show of The Blob (1988), followed by a Q&A with effects artist Nick Benson (Society, Tremors). This will be our second Q&A with Nick, and we can’t wait to hear his insight into some of the best (and goopiest) visual effects of the 80’s.
